Lay the fabric napkins on a protected work surface. Position a stencil of your choice in the corner. Press to secure. Add a piece of tape if needed. Dip the stencil brush into Copper, tap off excess paint and blot on a paper towel. Working straight up and down, tap the brush over the stencil until the design is filled in. Remove stencil while paint is wet and clean with water. When dry, store stencil on the carrier sheet. Heat set the paint using a pressing cloth and a dry hot iron. To make faux embroidery stitches, dip the detail brush into Engine Red. Blot excess on paper towel. Paint dashes around a design. To add gems, dip the back of a rhinestone into gem glue and adhere where desired. Insert folded napkin into a ring, making sure design is featured. |
