Clean mugs with rubbing alcohol before stenciling. Once a design is stenciled, remove stencil while paint is wet; wash stencil and store on package backer sheet. Completed projects must cure before using. Let mugs dry overnight, then bake to cure. Place mugs in cool oven; set oven to 350° and bake for 30 minutes. Turn oven off and allow mugs and oven to cool. Remove when completely cool.

Let it Snow Mug

Position the “Let it snow” stencil on the mug. Pour small amount of Engine Red onto foam plate. Load small brush, tap off excess, blot on paper towel and apply paint to stencil.

Pour a small amount of Warm White and Hydrangea paint onto foam plate. Dip the medium paintbrush into the Warm White, tap off the excess and tap into the Hydrangea. Tap off excess and brush onto the base of the mug creating a snow pattern.

Dip the brush into Calypso Sky and add highlights to the snow. Apply snowflake stencil to the mug and paint with the Warm White and Hydrangea mixture. Highlight the snowflakes with polka dots.

Snowflake Mug

Position the snowflake stencil on mug. Pour a small amount of Warm White and Calypso Sky onto a foam plate. Dip the medium paintbrush into the Warm White, tap off the excess; tap into the Calypso, tap off the excess, blot on a paper towel and apply paint to the stencil.

Snowman Mug

Position the snowman stencil on the mug. Pour a small amount of Calypso Sky onto a foam plate. Dip the medium brush into the paint; blot on paper towel and apply paint to the stencil. Using the small brush, Engine Red and Calypso Sky, paint polka dots around the base of the mug.

Tips:Use the handle end of a paintbrush or stencil sponge brush to make polka dots.
